During the summit, attendees were given the opportunity to challenge "The Mountain" himself to ascend the data cliff. Photo opportunities and prizes were given to the top scores which included custom swag and brochures on Druva software.
Objective Summary
Druva, a data management company, tasked Helios Interactive and my team to commission an interactive activation that would drive engagement and foot traffic to tradeshow booths. As a bonus, Druva partnered with actor and strongman, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson aka "The Mountain" from HBO's hit series, Game of Thrones. Using a Microsoft Kinect camera to track movement, we created a virtual mountain of data for the guests and attendees to climb. To initiate the challenge, the player would walk in front of the camera, and move their arms, scaling the mountain of data while grabbing terabytes of data to increase their score.
